I am an arts manager, advocate, and media producer operating out of Brooklyn, NYC with a specialty in discovering and bringing needed attention to the work of talented yet underserved communities of filmmakers and artists. I believe in cinema as one of the most powerful means of sharing life's stories and furthering our understanding of one another, even within our own cultures. I do so through my exhibition company The Luminal Theater and we are also working towards opening our own microcinema space. I also produce the quarterly Caribbean Film Series, done at and in conjunction with BAM Film, at which I've been doing outside programming since 2011 and where I also currently serve as a Programmer-at-Large.
