What can we learn from our EU counterparts? In many ways, US festivals operate in more challenging conditions than EU festivals, contending with a lack of diverse funding and institutional support, greater competition, and a heavier reliance on submission platforms. In this session, we will examine EU best practices including team and data consolidation, collaboration across territories, and information sharing. Then we will brainstorm about how these ideas can be implemented in the US festival ecosystem.
