Started slinging popcorn in 2001 and never looked back. These days I’m the Director of Operations for four historic small-town theaters, which mostly means I’m a general-purpose problem solver. I love developing training materials and coming up with new policies and procedures to make sure we’re constantly improving, but I’m most at home in the projection booth. If I could run 35mm every day I would.
When I’m not working for the theaters I moonlight as an archivist and historian. My primary research interests include African-American history and the history of the poor.
