I joined the Avalon staff in 2006 as the manager of the theater's capital campaign. Once that was successfully completed I was delighted to take on the challenge of establishing a film education program, first for middle school students and then expanded to include high school students. It has been tremendously rewarding to watch the program grow and to interact with wonderful teachers and students. My background is in social work and mediation training. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and received an MSW from the Boston University School of Social Work.
